Gino's Cheese Steak & Onion

Every single sandwich is outrageously delicious! Tonight I had the reuben....best I've ever had anywhere! My husband had the steak sandwich and tater tots and it was fabulous! It's one of our favorite go to places to get a great meal quickly and reasonably. Kudos to the sweet girl who does it all. She's the bartender, she takes your order and delivers your food. She cleans the tables afterward and never misses a beat. She's super efficient and has a wonderful and friendly personality. I highly recommend Gino and Joe's! Look who stopped in to get dinner to bring back to the North Pole!

Incredible! Got the black and blue with bacon and cherry peppers and every ingredient felt cared for. It’s not often you find a place that treats greasy late night eats with this much attention but that cross section is where joy lives. Staff were all super friendly and it seems like the perfect place to grab a drink. Plenty of parking too. In my experience they had a to go order ready to roll in under ten minutes so a really viable quick eats option.

I don't care how far out of your way you need to travel to get to Gino's but do it! You absolutely owe it to yourself. Gino's is positioned at the end of a U-shaped plaza. It was just the coolest, eclectic little joint I've visited in quite a while. From the decor to the memorabilia to the bathtub behind the bar filled with canned spirits. I ordered the lunch, cheese steak with provolone, peppers and onions along with tots. The cheese steak was full of flavorful tender meat and the tots were perfectly cooked. I was greeted by Josh, the owner of Gino's, with menu in hand, no more than three steps into his restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar and within minutes, had submitted my order to Sarah (I apologize if my spelling is incorrect), she was hopping from bar to kitchen and back like a pro! I had a great music/concert conversation with fellow patron Mark. I felt like I was in an episode of Cheer's "where everybody know your name". Gino's WILL be on my itinerary every time in Syracuse, I owe it to myself! Thanks!

I hate to say this as I gave a good review for Gino's a while ago but it is definitely gone downhill big time. I got a Philly cheesesteak that was on a real cheap type roll. Not a lot of meat. Not a lot of flavor. My wife got a Reuben and hers. Wasn't that good either. You didn't get really a lot for your money. It's a shame. I would not recommend anymore.

Not sure why it was highlighted in my Google Maps (food show, or something), but had to visit as I was passing through. Gino's is located in a nondescript track mall you'd find anywhere. Arrived just after opening, and already three people sitting at the bar. The place was constantly busy. Ordered the lunch special; cheesesteak with peppers, fries, and soda. Wow, its a great sandwich! The fries are nothing special, but they provide malt vinegar at the tables.
